ROAD TRIP
BANG ON A CAN
For Bang on a Can's 30th Anniversary, I designed the scenic environment and projections for an evening-length visual experience featuring works by Michael Gordon, David Lang, and Julia Wolfe.
The design centered on a 12-screen, multi-dimensional scenic structure inspired by the shifting perspectives of a road trip. Directed by Michael Counts, the production celebrated freedom, movement, and the open road through an immersive visual environment. Premiering at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, the production played to more than 12,000 audience members across three nights.
